Tom Sampson
A quieter kind of authority.

Tom spent years on the shop floor before he ever made an appointment. Opening flagship stores before the first client arrived. Shaping the people who define the brand. Learning that a fold, a greeting, a moment of attention are what a client remembers long after the rest is forgotten. In time, he was trusted to lead them, not because he sought the title, but because he understood, instinctively, what the work demanded of the people responsible for it.

That instinct became the foundation for a career in luxury search. Tom built relationships and made leadership and senior appointments across some of the most recognised and respected names in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. The right person, in the right role, has never been a matter of fit on paper. It is judgement, earned by understanding the work itself.

That judgement was put to a different test when Tom took on the strategy and direction of an entire North America division for a leading luxury search firm, before rising to lead it as Vice President.

Because running a division is not the same as doing the work. After years spent building something within someone else's structure, the natural next step was not a bigger title. It was the freedom to choose which searches to take, which relationships to build, and how the work would be done. Properly, with care, without compromise.

Lerryn House is that freedom, put into practice. One search at a time, exactly as it should be done.

In Their Words

Tom took the time to understand what I was working toward, and didn't waste it putting me in front of roles that weren't a fit. I'd work with him again without hesitation.

Flagship Director, Chanel

I came to Tom without a clear sense of what I wanted next. He helped me find it. The introduction he made was straightforward from the first conversation to the last.

Vice President, Etro

What stood out was the consistency. Every conversation with Tom moved the process forward, nothing wasted, nothing vague. He found me a role that fit, not just one that was open.

Store Director, Louis Vuitton

Tom's understanding of this industry made the conversations genuinely useful. He gave me a clearer read on the market than anyone else I spoke with, and his advice has stayed with me since.

Global Sales Director, Erdem

Tom's knowledge of this industry came through in every conversation. His support didn't stop once the interviews started. It carried through to securing the role itself.

Store Director, Gucci

Tom was present at every stage of the process, and it showed. This was, without question, the best recruitment experience I've had.
